IHS Markit is looking for a senior analyst to join our North American Power & Renewables research team. The analyst will work closely with other research team members to analyse policy, technology and trends related to distributed energy resources (DERs), including: solar PV, battery energy storage, and demand response. The position provides an opportunity for a successful candidate to advise clients on the drivers shaping DERs, advance their knowledge of power markets and work with a highly collaborative team of researchers. The analyst will perform research, contribute to written reports and other deliverables, and assist with consulting projects.
An ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and 3 to 5 years of relevant industry experience. Interested applicants wishing to be considered should submit a resume, as well as a cover letter highlighting their applicable qualifications.
Bachelor’s degree in economics, statistics or industry-related field required. Graduate degree with quantitative skills preferred.
At least 3 years of related experience typically acquired by working in industry, government, research, or consulting.
