What you will do at Markit Digital
Our component engineering teams provide platforms and components that enable client solution teams to create custom solutions for our clients. Our technical product managers work with the engineering teams as well as our design and business development teams to define, plan, and prioritize the capabilities and features that are available for client solutions.
As a Technical Product Manager, you will understand customer needs and translate them into requirements. You will be familiar with financial industry trends and the technologies that support our capabilities. You will maintain prioritized capability road maps and work with teams to execute and manage the vision for capabilities. You will follow vendors and competitors, conducting competitive capability analysis regularly. You will provide internal training and customer-facing marketing material on the features of the capability.
Write and communicate clearly through emails, shared documentation, group meetings, and presentations.
Articulate detailed acceptance criteria for feature enhancements.
Provide stakeholders with timely updates on initiative progress.
Serve as a capability evangelist and subject matter expert.
Create marketing materials for sales and account teams to introduce new features and capabilities to clients.
Collaborate effectively with multiple stakeholders across the organization.
Negotiate positively and efficiently for mutual agreement on strategies, roadmap plans and key features while maintaining relationships.
Use Product Management and partner function (Engineering, Design) tools to provide capabilities and solutions.
Use analytics to get feedback about features/capabilities/solutions/initiatives.
Drive quality execution across teams.
Use understanding of the technology supporting a capability to anticipate implementation challenges.
Define and track success metrics.
Prioritize work based on business and client objectives.
Use strategic thinking to lead to answers for cross-team efforts and multiple capabilities.
Identify opportunities that arise from new technologies.
Describe vision for groups of capabilities.
Use emotional intelligence to understand clients' and investors’ problems and fit capability features to user needs and behaviors.
Use business acumen to manage capabilities, using business metrics to inform decisions and analyze results.
Demonstrate leadership by consistently owning meaningful decisions and being a role model for our core values.
Job qualifications include
Bachelors’ degree in Business, Computer Science or a related field.
3+ years professional experience working in product management in a similar fast moving, technology-based organization.
Experience working in a flat organizational structure and are at ease managing conflicting priorities.
Possess outstanding oral and written communication skills and have experience facilitating groups, both within and outside of the Scrum framework.
Hardworking and ready to take on a role where you can continue to grow professionally.
Excel in analytical thinking, are highly effective in problem diagnostics and at ease working in a fast-moving, somewhat ambiguous environment.
Related financial industry experience strongly desirable.
Related technology background strongly desirable.

For work locations in the state of Colorado, the anticipated minimum base salary for this role is $75,440. Compensation will be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, and abilities of the applicant.
